Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Battle of Galwan draws from a chapter of India’s Most Fearless 3 by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh, a bestselling book chronicling extraordinary stories of courage within the Indian armed forces. The film aims to bring to life the intensity of the standoff that occurred amid the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting the raw, close-combat nature of the clash.
Chitrangda Singh, who plays a key role, earlier admitted she felt “a bit nervous” joining the project because of Salman’s massive fan following. “I’m glad they accepted me with their Salman, their hero. It’s been good so far,” she told HT.
